Mr. A's Birthday

Back in June my baby turned 5.  Yup...he is a kindergartener.  We had a fun time at his party. It was dinosaur themed and we had a blast with balloons, cake and presents.  Now for viewing pleasure.

And yes I made the Dino book!  It turned out awesome!

Turning 5

My baby is now five years old!  How that happened I'll never know.  We had a great party with lots of family and even friends.  It was dinosaur themed and with the help and collaboration of Nana and Mama, the three of us came up with an "Dino Aaden's Field Guide" type of presents.  If anyone knows about Dino Dan then you know what I'm talking about.  I'll add pictures later.  Just know we had a blast!

Landon had....

is first encounter losing with the wall!  He jumped off the bed, fell into the wall and split open his head.  Right smack in the middle of his forehead.  I'm pretty calm when it comes to blood so he didn't panic but Aaden did a little.  Luckily we are right down the street from the ER so off we went.  My wonderful friend and visiting teacher, Lynette, was so kind to take Aaden since Steve was still at work.  Boy oh boy what an adventure.

I also hate our ER.  The nurses wanted to put his arms in a pillowcase and tie them behind his back.  By this point my hubby was there and we both looked at them and said "No"!  I mean who does that to a 2 year old when 2 parents are available?  If you know Landon you know that wouldn't go off very well.  As long as he gets to maintain some control then he's good!

So another ER visit in the books.  It had been awhile and hopefully there are no more to come!
